might have some very serious engine problems. So I'm praying praying praying
for a miracle 500. p100 & then as it turns out it was just the
thermostat needed to be changed ! ...maybe God did perform a miracle right
there as I was waiting.. I'll never know for sure but they thought for pretty
sure that the engine was bad...that the head gasket had blown... meaning more
expensive to fix than the vehicle is worth. Paul was telling me I should start
looking for a new vehicle. Either they were wrong or God performed a
miracle ...one or the other . Thank you Lord. I prayed with them before
leaving. They were both evangelical Christians so that was a good thing .&
now I'm on my way again. p103 Spent the night there in Cadillac & then the
next morning , July 2 Tuesday: I'm back on the road. But first I went to the
library 📚 & also played a little frisbee golf & drove around
Cadillac. Also went to the laundromat & to a patriot 🇺🇸 concert 🎺 by Lake Cadillac . I'm calling this the miracle at

friendly".. feels very comfortable. & Then I went over to the downtown
Louisville area & attended the more traditional Catholic mass at the
cathedral ⛪. I also passed by the very cool Speed (Art)Museum 🖼 & then to the unique DT Louisville library 📚. & I
drove by the famous Churchill Downs 🐎 where they hold the Kentucky Derby -nothing happening
there right now 4 pm. & kept going south. Prayers4 North Korea &

River. I didn't stay too long because it looked like somebody was living under
the bridge 🌉 and they showed up shortly later & I felt a little
uncomfortable being there in what looked like their front yard or something
with stuff strewn all over the place. I've noticed that homeless people like to
spread their stuff out so they make people uncomfortable about being there.
Most of the stuff they spread out is just junk but it makes it feel like
it's their place, even though it's public property.

(reminded me of Art History at Calvin College) & it's right by Vanderbilt
University; & then stopped in at a little Nashville Branch Library 💻 & did some work on the computer.
7/17 Wednesday: I slept in Nashville then I got up
& went to the Hidden Lake & took a little hike to the very idyllic
pond & cast my line 🎣 there for a little while but my lure got hooked & I

near Graceland where Elvis 🎸 lived & is buried & if you get there early enough
,which I did, you can enter free just to see the burial spot & pay your
respects, but you can't go in the house . That requires a separate paid ticket
during regular hours. But its nice to see where he's buried &
shows that he was a man of Christian faith. I also passed by the famous Sun

people come in & there's many open seats all over the place but they sit
right directly behind you. Very creepy👎.) Gigantic backup on 40 West leaving Albuquerque . I try
to take a back road & it made things worse.. very bumpy dirt road ...trying
to go around the traffic & eventually got through but not sure I saved time
& came out a lot more dusty & rattled, literally.

p165 July 22 Monday: slept in Flagstaff Arizona. The
"Museum Fire" 🔥 is causing the area to be smoky & some areas closed
off including up by the Catholic church . I drove up there & you can see
the flames 🔥 & the smoke right behind the church . I also walked
around the Frances Short Pond & fished there briefly. Also at lower
& upper Mary Lake fished briefly ... albeit Mormon Lake is almost
dry. Nearby Ashurst Lake is a nice drive .. dirt road. LOTS of people
fishing 🎣there including me around 10 a.m. & then I went over to
the Lava Cave & hiked a little bit inside there in the dark … around
12:30 lots of cars there too... you just walk in & explore... kind of

feeding peanuts to the donkeys. That's a cool place in Arizona where wild
donkeys roam freely around town. Fished 🎣 a little at Havasu National Wildlife Refuge --very
idyllic. p170 taking another one of my famous shortcuts. This one's called the OLD
66 GAS PIPE ROAD ..a little nerve-wracking with severak dips & ruts to

my first time there.. very small ..near the Bear Mountain Ski 🎿Resort.. looks like they're working on a new zoo just down
the road. I also stopped at the Big Bear Library . Then I went fishing by the
dam at the far end of Big Bear Lake. Later, I went to Arrowhead library 📚 & then took the hike to Aztec Falls. Now I'm
starting to Pray4 🙏 Latinos again. I had forgotten about the issues but
they kind of slap you over the head when you reenter the Southern California
area. Lake Gregory regional park in Crestline City has a wonderful waterslide
park. July 25 Thursday: Back in Los Angeles, slept at Sunset.
